What changes the plan
Write down the exact starting entrance and destination entrance. A station near a large building on the map may still leave a meaningful walk. Compare a transit journey with a taxi or other licensed option for the same departure time. Use the official transport planner for current routes and fares; screenshots saved months ago can hide an important change.
Account for the people making the trip. Large bags, a stroller, mobility requirements or a group that must stay together can change what is practical. Ask about step-free access where it matters and verify the final pedestrian route. Keep a backup if the outdoor walk or transfer becomes uncomfortable; an inexpensive fare is not the only measure of a good journey.
Plan the return before committing to the outward journey. An evening venue may finish after the service pattern has changed, and the pickup point may be different from the entrance. Confirm the current timetable, save the address in a form you can show a driver and make sure your phone can access the booking or route offline if needed.
